ANWIRE Workshop on Reconfigurability is the 2nd workshop organised by ANWIRE. The Workshop on Reconfigurability 2003 aims at investigating new developments in beyond 3G mobile communications focusing on advanced architectures that enable reconfigurability at all layers (terminal, network and services). The workshop will provide 2-day presentations of invited and regular papers from manufacturers, academia, operators and services providers. Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts of technical papers on both theoretical and practical aspects of the ambit of the workshop.Tutorial proposals are also
requested.

Topics
Specific areas of interest in Reconfigurability include, but are not limited to,
the following topics:

Reconfigurability management

Policy provision

Profile management

Protocol/software download

Adaptable service deployment

Open APIs for reconfigurability triggering and management

Reconfigurable charging models

Flexible QoS and security schemes

Mobility management inreconfigurable networks

Dynamic and flexible spectrum management

Flexible Service Creation and Discovery

Location-awareness in reconfigurable networks

Middleware for Reconfigurable platforms

Context and Ambient Awareness

Papers
Prospective authors are invited to submit for review, abstracts of papers that
have not been previously published. Priority will be given for original
contributions describing recent and innovative research results or developments
in the scope of the workshop. Extended abstracts must be written in English,
using font no smaller than 10 points and not exceed 5 pages. Only PDF and
PostScript formats will be accepted, and all submissions will be handled
