The NBA is currently in the midst of one of the most exciting seasons in recent memory. With a new crop of stars and a revitalized Cleveland Cavaliers squad, it seems like anything could happen this year. Here are ten players who have a shot at winning their first ring this season.

The nba players without rings 2021 are 10 NBA players that could realistically win their first ring this season.

Life isn’t always fair, according to an ancient adage. When it comes to the NBA, this rule applies equally well. Numerous players in the league’s lengthy history have amassed Hall of Fame-worthy individual statistics, but they are missing one important prize. That would be the one-and-only NBA title.

The “Greatest Players to Never Win a Championship” class includes Karl Malone and Charles Barkley. Some current NBA players are perilously close to being part of that group. These ten players, some old and others new, are vying to meet one criterion in order to escape being labeled with that title. This season, these NBA players have a chance to earn their first ring.

Special Mention

Luka Doncic is a Serbian footballer who plays for the

Luka Doncic

Doncic is just 22 years old, so he still has plenty of time to win his first title. Will it be with the Mavericks in Dallas? That is yet to be seen. Doncic is given honorable mention because leading the Mavericks to a championship would be as unlikely as Dirk Nowitzki leading the Mavericks to a Championship in 2011.

With Doncic leading the way, the Mavericks will always be a playoff contender; yet, the combination of Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis has yet to produce postseason outcomes. The club has qualified for the playoffs twice but has been ousted in the first round both times. Making the NBA Finals is a long shot, but we shouldn’t dismiss the guy who will be a strong contender for MVP.

Paul George is a well-known figure in the

This is completely dependent on Kawhi Leonard’s return this season. Leonard was anticipated to miss a significant portion of the season due to ACL surgery. Leonard was unable to play in the Western Conference Finals against the Phoenix Suns due to the operation. There’s reason to believe the Clippers would have beaten the Suns and advanced to their first-ever NBA Finals if Leonard had participated.

Instead, George was forced to carry the Clippers on his own in a six-game series. “Playoff P” seems to have regained its full strength. If Leonard can stay healthy, the Clippers may be a darkhorse contender for the NBA title.

Carmelo Anthony is a basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles

Carmelo Anthony Lakers

Anthony hasn’t played for something this important in a long time. In 2009, while he was with the Nuggets, Denver came close to defeating the Lakers, but lost in six games to Kobe Bryant. Anthony has only made it to the second round once since then, with the New York Knicks in 2013.

Anthony has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder and Portland Trail Blazers, but only in the first round of the playoffs. Anthony may be a crucial bench component for a Lakers championship run, with his position having him coming off the bench in a more Kyle Kover-like style. After all, Anthony was the one who remarked, “The time was just perfect.” Perhaps this is the moment for the 37-year-old to finally get the ring he never received.

Simmons, Ben

Many fans want to analyze Ben Simmons’ offensive difficulties against the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the playoffs. Fans forget that Simmons was an All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year runner-up for a team that finished first in the Eastern Conference. Given the 76ers’ comeback, there’s no reason why they can’t reclaim their place as the east’s top dog.

Much of this is dependent on Simmons’ ability to convert offensive output. All offseason, trade speculations have swirled around Simmons, but he has remained with the club. Last year, the 76ers were excellent enough to be placed above both the Bucks and the Nets. Keep it in mind.

Butler, Jimmy

Jimmy Butler Sends A Message To The Rest Of The NBA-

The Miami Heat destroyed the Bucks and advanced to the NBA Finals almost a year ago. With Duncan Robinson resigning, Tyler Herro entering his third season, Bam Adebayo looking like an All-Star, and Kyle Lowry joining the team, much of that core stays. Would it surprise anybody in the NBA if the Heat, with Butler at the helm, topped the league in defensive efficiency this season?

When elite players in the NBA are discussed in the media, Butler is often overlooked. He’s a top-10 player in the league and one of the league’s finest two-way players. If the Heat can return to the Finals, maybe their fortunes will change and they will be rewarded with title rings.

Devin Booker is a basketball player who plays in the NBA.

As the Suns advanced to the NBA Finals this season, Booker came close to winning his first title. Booker has earned All-Star status and is one of the greatest overall shooters in the game. With his scoring skills, Booker has been likened to the likes of Kobe Bryant and Steph Curry.

With that said, Booker dismissed any parallels to Kobe Bryant. That was significant because Booker has zero rings, while Bryant has five. The Suns bring back their primary core from last year’s Finals appearance. Why couldn’t the Suns return to the Finals if Booker can play like an All-Star again?

Chris Paul is a musician from the United States.

Chris Paul, when it comes to making a run back to the finals, is the player who most wants to do it. The 36-year-old is perilously close to joining the list of players who have never won a title on Mount Rushmore. The Bucks defeated the Suns in the NBA Finals in six games, with Giannis Antetokounmpo scoring 50 points. That’s how close he was to being removed off the list.

Instead, he embarks on a new year with the hopes of obtaining his first ring. He might have accepted less money and gone to Los Angeles to join up with close buddy LeBron James. Instead, he accepted a lower salary and agreed to a four-year contract to remain in Phoenix. Paul, like Giannis in Milwaukee, wants to win on his terms. It’s hard to blame him for giving it another go.

Joel Embiid is a forward for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Skip Bayless Calls Joel Embiid His Favorite Big Man:

The 76ers’ first No. 1 seed since the days of Allen Iverson was headed by the MVP runner-up. When it comes to Philly icons, Embiid will very certainly be included with Allen Iverson, Charles Barkley, and Hal Greer. Outside of Greer, though, Embiid is treading water on his way to become a ringless legend like those previous greats.

Embiid has never made it to the Conference Finals, but he has advanced to the second round twice. The triple bounce of Kawhi Leonard’s final shot bounced him, and then Trae Young and the Cinderella Atlanta Hawks bounded him. If Embiid hadn’t been injured last season, he could have won MVP. The 76ers have a chance to make a deep postseason run if he remains healthy throughout the season.

Russell Westbrook is a basketball player who plays for the Oklahoma

Russell Westbrook has to understand that a triple-double isn’t required to succeed in this league. While no one can deny that what Westbrook accomplished last season, as well as four times in his career, is remarkable, he is approaching the latter years of his peak without having played in the NBA Finals. It’s either now or never for the Lakers, who are his fourth club in four years.

Since his days as Kevin Durant and James Harden is a basketball player from the United States., Westbrook will have the greatest supporting group he’s had. In 2020, LeBron James and Anthony Davis win a championship without Westbrook. Both players, though, rely on Westbrook to help them win another game. Both sides are aware of the stakes. Can Westbrook, on the other hand, fill the gap of a role player? If that’s the case, he may finally be a champion.

Nikola Jokic is a Serbian footballer.

Nikola Jokic

The MVP’s prospects of winning a championship, like Paul George’s, are entirely dependent on the health of his co-star, Jamal Murray. Murray tore his ACL towards the conclusion of the year. In the year 2022, he is anticipated to return. The Nuggets don’t need to hurry him back because Jokic, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr. are capable of leading the team to a playoff berth.

The Nuggets are a Conference Finals candidate if Murray can stay healthy in the playoffs. After all, in 2020, the Nuggets advanced to the Conference Finals before losing to the Lakers. That’s why, at the trade deadline, the club added Gordon to strengthen the inside defense. The entire cast in Denver may be enough to reach the NBA Finals, with MPJ entering his contract year and possibly his finest season.

James Harden

No player has a better chance of making it off this list than James Harden. Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Joe Harris, Kevin Durant, and Blake Griffin are all NBA award winners in the starting lineup. Patty Mills, James Johnson, Bruce Brown, Nicolas Claxton, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Paul Millsap make up the bench.

This squad has an incredible depth of experienced skill. Because they think they have a chance to win a championship, players join teams for less money. Griffin, Aldridge, and Millsap accomplished precisely that. Harden, with Durant at the helm, might be the greatest No. 2 since Dwyane Wade teamed up with LeBron James. This combination took home two championships. Harden just need one.
